THE ASSOCIATION

Because children deserve to live in dignity

The assocation CHICOS was born in 1992, as an initiative of a group of people of the community, worried about the problem of the so-called “street children”. Since that day, we develop our own activities and support the program “La casa” (“The home”), an initiative of the municipality of the city of Rosario.

Our actions make it possible for us to offer an alternative for the way in which the problem is usually dealed with, this is the internment as only way out for children living or working in the street.

The principles and methods of CHICOS, our ways of being, thinking and feeling, teach us that there is always a possibility to be found.
